Web-a-photo launches new service – photos with own web address ( URL ).

All photos stored in the regular web-a-photo albums are good for review, print, sharing, slide show etc. For security reasons they do not have own web address and cannot be linked to external web sites.

Today, Web-a-photo released storage for linkable pictures ( pictures with own web address or URL )  to respond to the popular demand for such service.

Special album called “Merchant Photo Store” a.k.a. “Public Link” has been automatically added to all paid web-a-photo accounts.

“Public link” album can be managed as any other album. Users add, delete, transfer photos (in- and out-) the very same way they do with any other album.

When an user opens the album he will see a tool “Generate Link” above each photo. A click on this tool will take the user to a screen with the unique web address( URL ) of this photo plus HTML tags for inserting full size or a thumbnail of this photo in different web pages.

The most typical application is posting pictures of items for sale on eBay. Numerous other online applications exist as well.

The new service comes at NO EXTRA CHARGE to existing and future paid web-a-photo accounts. However the number of pictures is limited. For those with free accounts and paid accounts willing to add more pictures beyond the allowance it costs $2.50 per mo. for a 5 pictures pack.
