There
are many off-the-shelf software products that will install a variety
of fonts on your machine. You can also download the fonts you need
from the Web.
When
using fonts for the content of your webpage, remember to use fonts
that are fairly common so that most users can see the font you
intended to use. Otherwise, the text will be displayed in the user’s
browser as their default font (usually Times New Roman). You also
have the option of prompting the user to download the font you
intend them to see. However, this should be avoided as often times
that takes too much additional effort and time, and the user will
instead read the content in their default font, or leave the site.
