How
can I Change my MySQL Password using the Aplus.Net Control Panel?
|
|
You
can change your MySQL Database passwords using the MySQL Database
Manager tool:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the domain name of the website that you’d like to edit.
- Click
the MySQL Database Manager icon.
- Click
the change password link associated with the exact
MySQL Database you’d like to manipulate.

Important: If your Main FTP Username contains more
than 14 characters (For example: 15 or 16 characters long), all your
MySQL Databases share a single MySQL Username and Password. Such users
have to use the Set Password button to change their
MySQL Password as there is no option to set a different password for
each database. The change will affect all of your MySQL Databases.
- Enter
your new MySQL Database password and click Change.
