What problems will I have with the Enterprise 2.0 Server-Side Java?

 Some known problems with Enterprise 2.0 Server-Side Java are:

-

The Enterprise Server 2.x Java VM runs in the same process as the web server, thus it is less fault tolerant;

-

Its performance is behind the Java VM in 3.0;

-

ES2.0 server side Java has no persistence ability;

-

You cannot invoke J/JNI or other native methods (e.g., level one JDBC drivers will not work);

-

Netscape is now encouraging use of the new WAI over HttpApplet.
