Web-a-Photo is an Internet-based
service provided by an Internet-based company. Unlike some of our
competitors, we believe that in the new digital millennium, people
will spend more of their time at their computers, using a variety
of digital gadgetry to take and view photos, rather than in front
of their fireplaces with a traditional family photo album. That's
why we are taking an aggressive stance towards creating, manipulating
and sharing photos in a digital environment, including the Internet.
Most of our competitors do not go
that far. They look at digital technology as a medium to reach the
print photo, which is their ultimate destination. We are proud to start
where our competitors end. Their idea of "sharing" does not
go beyond e-mail, and the purpose of their Web albums is to take online
orders for photo prints.
We believe that digital media is
here to stay, and print, while still applicable in many cases, is no
longer a necessity. We offer the freedom of worldwide sharing without
the restrictions of e-mail.
In addition, Web-a-Photo is extremely easy to use, and does
not require much computer or software knowledge. Simply insert your
media card (from your digital camera) into your media card reader,
and watch as your photos pop up on the Web in just a few minutes.
