Email
storage space with Aplus.Net’s Unix-based shared hosting
plans:
There
is no specific limit to the size of an email box. If you have a Unix-based
hosting plan, the disc storage space that you are allocated gets
divided between your website, the files you host on our server, and
your email accounts.
Email
storage space with Aplus.Net’s Windows-based shared
hosting plans:
There
is no specific limit to the size of an email box. If you have a Windows-based
hosting plan, the email space is shared between all your email boxes.
Important:
The email space is allocated separately from your actual web hosting
disk space.
The
email space quota is as follows:
- Personal Windows – 125MBs
- Business Class Windows – 250MBs
- Pro Windows – 500MBs
- eCommerce Windows – 1000MBs
Note:
You can view the most up-to-date information about Aplus.Net’s
Windows-based shared hosting plans at:
http://hosting.aplus.net/compare_windows.html.
The
maximum number of emails that can be sent using Aplus.Net’s
servers is 500 emails per 30 minutes. Anything above that number
will cause your hosting account to be immediately placed on hold.
Email
attachment size: the size of the attachments that you can send and
receive by email using your Aplus.Net email account depends on the
email software that you use:
- Web-based email: 7 MB
max.
- Local Email Client: 20
MB max.
Note:
If you intend to share large files through emails, we strongly recommend
that you use our Web-a-File service as it is more reliable alternative
to store and exchange files over the internet. A free Web-a-File
service plan is included with most of the Aplus.Net’s new shared
hosting plans: Business Class Unix, Pro, eCommerce Unix, Business Class Windows, Pro Windows, and eCommerce Windows.
The main features that are offered by Web-a-File can be found by
visiting http://www.web-a-file.com and
selecting Features from the navigation menu.
