What is the functionality of Web-a-file Backup option?

With the Web-a-File backup, you can immediately save any files and directories on the Web-a-File server. You will be able to view information related to the backup process, such as the number of the files selected for backup, as well as its total size in Kbytes. There are a few differences in the functionality of the Web-a-File Backup depending on whether you have selected files or a directory to backup:

  • When you select directories, the Include subfolders of selected folder(s) option is active. Using this option, you can include/remove some files from the backup process. If you hit the Start button you will activate the transfer of files to the Web-a-File server, which you can terminate by hitting the Stop button. You will be informed of the current status of the upload by the Current file progress and Total progress bars.
