Web-a-File client is a Windows platform pack which integrates with
Windows Explorer. It allows you to rapidly and easily backup and
restore your files, directories, subdirectories and drives on the
Web-a-File Web server.

The
Web-a-File client software contains the following components:
- Web-a-File Backup Agent
- Web-a-File Settings
- Web-a-File Live Update
- Uninstall Web-a-File
This document describes the interface and
the capabilities of the Web-a-File Backup Agent:
- Backup – use
this option to select files or directories from your local computer
to be backed up on the Web-a-File server.
- Schedule
Backup – same as above with the additional option of a scheduled
backup to be performed automatically.
- Restore
Selected Items – use this option to select and restore files
on your local computer which are already backed up.
- Restore
From Server - use this option to select and restore files from
the Web-a-File server to your local computer.
- Mail
Backup – use this option to backup messages from your local
email client.
- Mail
Restore – use this option to restore already backed up email
messages.
- Web-a-File
Settings – information about the Web-a-File Settings is available here.
- Web-a-File
Online – redirects to http://web-a-file.com.
- Add
New Scheduled Task – use this button to add a new scheduled
backup task on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- Settings – use
this button to edit the name, period and properties of a specific scheduled
task.
- Files
Management – use this button to specify the files or directories
to be backed up by the specific scheduled task.
