*What is TiVoŽ:
TiVoŽ is a consumer video device which
allows users to capture television programming to internal
disk storage. You can record your favorite shows and TV programs
with a Digital Video Recorder, which is similar to the VCR,
but actually records on a hard drive. With TiVoŽ you can make
your own recording schedules and filters. The TiVoŽ service
also allows you to control live TV programs. This means you
can pause, rewind, replay or watch TV in slow motions. Unlike
tape-based recorders, a program that is still being recorded
can be viewed from the beginning. A prospective TiVoŽ user
needs a Digital Video Recorder and a TiVoŽ Service Subscription.
*What is Web-a-File:
Web-a-File online storage is ideal for
presenting, storing, and sharing information distributed via
the Internet. You can use the Web-a-File services from as many
computers as you wish. The only conditions are an Internet
connection and a web browser. Your files are protected by SSL
encryption while you upload them and are placed in a secure,
safe environment on the Web-a-File server. You can review the
available free and paid Web-a-File accounts by clicking here.
*What is Web-a-Tune for TiVo:
Web-A-Tune for TiVoŽ is a feature of Web-A-File
that enables playing of MP3 music files through your home TV
set using TiVoŽ digital video recorders. Furthermore,
you can create and manage an unlimited number of playlists
using your MP3 files. It is a product of Aplus.Net Internet
Services developed using tools and techniques available to
third party developers from TiVoŽ Inc. Once your MP3 files
are uploaded to your Web-a-File.Com account, you have to connect
to the public TiVo server in order to play your favorite songs
through the home TV set.
Note: Please have in mind that Web-a-File
does not encourage storage of any material in violation of
the Copyright laws.
