What can SiteBuilder do?

The SiteBuilder tool is a web-based software application that allows you to create your own web sites. It provides you with all the tools you need to build your site from start to finish, without having to download any software or know HTML.

You start by choosing a site type. Site types contain common pages for each type of site, providing you with a starting point that includes sample content. You can choose to include this content in your site or simply use it as a reference guide in creating your own content.

You can choose from a wide variety of professional web page designs. You can easily switch designs and page layouts while working (without losing any of your work) and you can even apply different designs to different pages of your site. Your web pages automatically link and update as you build.

You can also create links to other web sites, pages in the web site you're creating, and even an e-mail link so visitors to your site can contact you. You have a choice of different types of Add-Ons that you can include in your web site. Add-Ons are "web site building blocks" that provide value for your visitors, help you make money from the web site, or add to your site's professional appearance. For example, you can add Add-Ons that are links to online stores, that provide a guest book for your visitors, and that provide you with animated graphics.

The toolbar (across the bottom of SiteBuilder) provides you with the tools for adding, editing, and changing content, as you desire. When you have finished creating your site, the Publish Site and Preview Site icons allow you to preview or publish your site with just one click.
