Network troubleshooter

The Network Troubleshooter tool found in the Aplus.Net Control Panel checks the connection between your website and your local computer, performing a Traceroute between your web site (on our server) and your current location.

When you view your site over the Internet, there are several hosts that your connection must go through before it reaches our servers. If there is a problem at any one of these hosts along this route, then the connection to your site may not be successful. Traceroute is a tool that returns a list of hosts that your packets pass through before reaching its destination.

Network Troubleshooter is a useful tool if you are not able to connect to your site. The traceroute will indicate if the problem with the connection lies with your ISP, our servers, or anywhere in between. This can also be used to locate any bottlenecks between you and the server that could be causing your pages to load slowly.
