The
main FTP account is specified by your unique main FTP username and its
respective FTP password. With this FTP login you can access your FTP
space, the Control Panel, your wesite's statistics, etc. Each hosting
plan with Aplus.Net is associated with a single FTP account.
Once
you have setup your main FTP account, you can not change the FTP
username. However, here’s
how to change your main FTP password:
- Start by
logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select Web
Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select FTP Accounts and click on Manage FTP Accounts.
- Click on the
username of the Main FTP account that you’d like to manage.
- You have the
following options available here:
- Add Web Space - with
this tool you can add web space to your main FTP account. Choose from
the available quantities and click Modify.
- Change FTP Password
- enter your new main FTP password and click Change.
- File Manager - with
this tool you can manage the file and folders in your FTP space.
