 Using the Text Editor

You can now work with multiple styles and formats all within the same block of text.

To use the Text Editor:

  1. Enter the text that you want to be a part of your web page.
  2. Highlight a portion of the text.
  3. Make your edits.

With the highlighted text you can:

  • Change the style to bold, italic, or underline.
  • Change the color of the text or the area around the text.
  • Select a different font or type size.
  • Insert numbered and bulleted lists.
  • Change the alignment of the text.
  • Insert hyperlinks.
  • Convert the text to HTML to make your own customizations. (For advanced users only)

Note: The appearance and functions of the new text editor will look different depending on the type of browser you use. For best results, use Microsoft Internet Explorer, versions 5.0-5.5 for Windows.
