Question categories:  Web Design

My web directory contains 2 new files, siegelog and siegerc. Do I need them?

Answer by: Curtis Vize, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support.

.siegelog and .siegerc are two files created by the Aplus.Net Site Stress Test tool which is called Siege.

.siegelog contains a log of all stress tests run on respective URL’s.

.siegerc is a configuration file with variables to further customize your stress test and a brief description of how each variable is used.

These files are not needed and you may delete them. However, they will re-appear each time you run a stress test on any of your URL’s.
