The maximum number of emails that
can be sent using Aplus.Net’s servers is 500 emails per 30
minutes. Anything above that number will cause your hosting account
to be immediately placed on hold. If you use Aplus.Net’s email
list service, you can have up to 1000 subscribers in a given email
list.
I. Reactivating your account:
In order to reactivate your account you
will need to contact our Abuse department, state your
awareness of the spam policy and agree to abide by the limitations.
Aplus.Net Abuse staff can be reached via email at abuse@aplus.net.
Please include your registration number and customer password in your email.
Important: Your account will be reactivated
up to 1 business day after you contact Aplus.Net.
II. Avoiding further incidents:
- Spread
out your outgoing emails over longer period of time. Make sure
you do not exceed 500 emails per 30 minutes under any circumstances.
- A
common reason for sending too many emails would be a misconfigured
script that you use. Please, check the coding of your emailing
scripts and make sure those do not lead to more than 500 emails
being sent within a 30 minute period.
- If
you use Aplus.Net’s mailing list and have more than 1000
subscribers, you will need to split it into separate lists with
less then 1000 subscribers each. Then you should send out the email
message to the separate sub-lists in 1 hour periods to avoid any
further incidents.
