Start by logging to the
administration page of your Miva Merchant. Here is how to achieve this
depending on your hosting plan:
I.
eCommerce Unix plans opened before
December 7th,
2005 using MIVA 4:

II.
eCommerce Unix plans opened after
December 7th,
2005 using MIVA 5:
- http://yourdomain.com/mm5/admin.mvc
III.
eCommerce Windows plans:

Note:
Please replace yourdomain.com with your actual
registered and hosted domain name. Replace ftpusername
with your Main FTP Username associated with your hosting plan.
R-P-G Setup:

Step
1:
|
In Advanced Administration Mode,
expand the Stores
menu in the left menu bar, then
also expand your stores name menu. Then go to the payment configuration
menu.

Step
2:
|
From the Modules list,
select R-P-G
(Rodopi Payment Gateway), then click on the Update
button.
|
|
Step
3:
|
Click on R-P-G (Rodopi Payment
Gateway) to complete your Merchant ID and Password, your Charge Methods
and Available Payment Methods.
Charge Methods: Your account has
two types of authorization methods, an Online and an Offline. The
Online method authorizes the credit card when the order is placed and
bills that credit card at the same time if it has been approved.
Offline on the other hand, only performs the credit card authorization
and leaves the actual billing to be done when the order is shipped.
Available Payment Methods: Select
the credit cards you wish to be available to your customers to use as
payment methods. This is limited by your merchant account. If you are
unsure, please contact your merchant account representative at your
bank or credit union.
NOTE:
Your Merchant ID is assigned to you by Aplus.Net after you send your
merchant account information to us. If you have not received your
Merchant ID, please contact your sales representative. In order to
submit your Merchant Account information to us, please fill out the RPG
Setup Information Sheet.

Testing R-P-G:
|
Step
1:
|
In Advanced Administration Mode,
expand the Stores
menu in the left menu bar, and
then also expand your stores name menu. Then, go to the payment
configuration menu.

Step
2:
|
After Payment Configuration
is
selected, on the right pane window you will see a list of Payment
Modules. Please ensure that R-P-G
(Rodopi Payment Gateway) has a
check in the box next to it; then select the hyperlink at the top next
to Modules
titled R-P-G
(Rodopi Payment Gateway).

Step
3:
|
Make sure that the box next
to Test Mode
is un-checked to de-activate the test environment. NOTE:
MIVA's test mode cannot currently be used with RPG, and tests
attempted in Test Mode will always return an
error: "Unable to authorize payment". However, you
can use the test credit cards listed below to test your store "live".

Step
4:
|
You can now visit your newly
created store and try to purchase a product using any of the test
credit cards listed below. Please ensure that the product you are
purchasing during your test is below $100.00.
Your test result will be positive if the error returned is "Unable
to authorize payment: HARDDECLINED:Decline". (This means that the request has
been processed by the gateway and transmitted to the financial
institution, but declined as an invalid card number).
