With
the Load Time Optimization tool you can review and optimize the load
time of your web pages. The
tool will help you with the optimization of your html and image files
by decreasing their actual size. Thus, your web pages will load faster.
The
Load Time Optimization tool will provide detailed statistics about the
size of the optimized html file and the size of each optimized image
file. With this tool you can :
- Optimize a
single HTML page.
- Optimize an
HTML page that also contains images.
- Optimize a
single image file.
Note:
This tool supports the following image file extensions: jpg, jpeg, png.
Here’s
how to access the Load Time Optimization tool using the Aplus.Net
Control Panel:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
click on the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click
on the Marketing tab.
- Next,
click the Load Time Optimization icon.
I.
Optimize HTML file (with or without images):
- Use
the Choose a Directory drop-down menu to select
the directory that contains the HTML file that you’d like to
optimize. Allow 30 seconds for the server to process the contents of
the directory you have selected.
- Use
the Choose an image or a web page drop-down menu to
select the HTML file.
- Click
the Load Statistics button.
- In
the HTML File section you will see the size of
both the original and optimized HTML file as well as the percentage of
optimization.
- In
the Image Files section you will see the size of
both the original and optimized images as well as the percentage of
optimization.
- Click
Save to overwrite your original files
with the optimized versions of the HTML and image files.

Optimize Image file:
- Use
the Choose a Directory drop-down menu to select
the directory that contains the image file that you’d like to
optimize. Allow 30 seconds for the server to process the contents of
the directory you have selected.
- Use
the Choose an image or a web page drop-down menu to
select the image file.
- Click
the Load Statistics button.
- In
the Load Time Statistics section you will see
detailed information for both the original and optimized images.
- In
the Image Previews section you will see both the
original and optimized images.
- Click
Save to overwrite your original images
with the optimized versions.
