Is there any way to retrieve a lost password I set using the Protect Directories tool on the Aplus.Net Control Panel?

There is currently no way to retrieve a lost password set up using the Protect Directories tool.

We recommend that you remove users that have lost their passwords and then set them up again with a new password. Here’s how to do this:

1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
3. Next, select Hosted Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
4. Now, select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
5. Click the Protect Directories icon.
6. Select the protected directory that you’d like to manage from the Manage existing “Protected” Directories drop-down menu.
7. Select the username that you’d like to remove.
8. Click the Remove User button.
9. Select the directory that you’d like to password protect from the Choose the directory to be protected drop-down menu. Proceed to the Add a username and password dialogue.
10. Enter a Username and Password for this directory. Click Add User when finished.
