Question categories:  Domain Registration

Is it possible for another person to register my domain name after I have registered it?

Domain name availability is verified by Names4Ever and other ICANN accredited Registrars through a system called SRS (Shared Registration System). SRS is a universal database of available .com, .net and .org domain names. This system prevents your domain name from being registered through another Registrar.

NOTE: ccTLDs (country code Top Level Domains) however, are not verified through SRS and are registered on a first-come-first-served basis. In the event that the registry rejects your requested domain name, Aplus.Net / Names4Ever.Com will refund any ccTLD registration fees.
