If you are using Windows 95/98, and you do not see a “Dial-up
Networking” icon in your “My Computer” directory,
you probably need to install Dial-up networking. Here’s how:
- First
you will need your Windows 95/98 disk.
- Go
to Windows Start menu, and then select Settings,
and Control Panel.
- Select
the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click
on the tab that reads Add/Remove Windows Components.
- Next,
uncheck the box that reads Dial-up Networking and click Apply.
- You
will have to restart your computer.
- After
restarting, go back to the Add/Remove Programs menu.
- Go
to the Add/Remove Windows Components tab.
- Find
the Dial-up Networking icon, select it, and then click Apply.
- You
should now be prompted for your Windows disk. Insert the Windows
disk in the drive and it should automatically load up the newly
installed Dial-up Networking module.
You
are now ready to configure your Aplus.Net Dial-Up connection. For
instructions on how to set up your dial-up connection, please go

dial-up networking for Windows?
