Can I edit image files using the Aplus.Net Control Panel?

The Aplus.Net Image Manipulation tool provides options for easily editing your images online. You can resize, crop, flip, change colors, increase or decrease brightness and saturation and more without any special graphic design knowledge or software. This tool also gives you a preview of what the new image will look like before you save it. File with a format of .jpg, .gif, and .png files can be manipulated.

The Image Manipulation tool operates in a temporary file. The changes will be saved only if you press the Save button. If you would like to delete the temporary file, press the Cancel button. If you stop working after you have made some changes and did not delete the temporary file, the next time you select this file, your previous changes will be in the temporary file.

Be careful: If you click Save after manipulating a file, your old file will be overwritten. There is no way to use the Image Manipulation tool to save a manipulated file under a new name.

Here’s how:

1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
3. Next, select Hosted Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
4. Now, click on the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
5. Click on the Design tab.
6. Click the Image Manipulation icon.
7. On the following page, select the directory where you store your images from the Choose Image directory drop-down menu. Wait approximately 30 seconds for the server to process the contents of that directory before going on to Step 8.
8. Next, select the image you’d like to manipulate from the Choose an image drop-down menu. Click the Load Image button to proceed onto the next screen.
9. Now, select from the available image manipulations. After you click a button, the selected manipulation will be performed in the Preview window found at the left-hand edge of the table. Click the Question Mark next to each manipulation for additional explanation.
10. Click Save to save your changes. Click Cancel to escape and lose your manipulations.
