If
you are transferring the hosting of your domain to Aplus.Net, then
you will need to make changes to your e-mail. In order to ensure
the least amount of downtime in your e-mail, make sure that you take
the following steps:
- Open your account with
Aplus.Net, and make sure that your domain is added to your hosting
plan.
- Create your e-mail accounts
by logging into Aplus.Net’s Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your registration
number and password.
- Contact your registrar
and ask them to change the name servers on your domain to point
to Aplus.Net’s name servers (Primary name server: ns1.abac.com;
secondary name server: ns2.abac.com).
- Your e-mail will continue
to be hosted by your previous hosting company until your domain
resolves to Aplus.Net’s servers. As soon as your domain resolves
to Aplus.Net’s servers, your e-mail will be hosted with Aplus.Net.
- Once you have tested
your e-mail, you can cancel your hosting account with your previous
hosting company.
