Question categories:  Shared Hosting

I recently switched from unix to windows hosting. do i need to point my domain name to a different name server?

Answer by: Curtis Vize, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support.

Your name servers do not need to be changed if you are upgrading or moving to a new hosting platform. However, it takes time for your actual domain name to start resolving to the new hosting server.

Should any problem occur, please be sure your domain is pointing to the following name servers:

Primary: ns1.abac.com

Secondary: ns2.abac.com

If your domain name is still not resolving to the new hosting server in 48 hours after the migration, please contact customer support at 888-301-2516 (toll free) or 1-858-410-6900 for international callers.
