services. To begin the process of designing your website, we will need
your assistance as we work to design a website that matches your
requirements and needs. The
document below will explain the whole process of having a web site
designed by our Web Design team. ORDER
APPROVAL AND PAYMENT: For
your own security, we require that each web design order be approved by
our Billing department.
Once
you initiate a web design, you will receive a CCA (Credit
Card Authorization) form and Web WDA (Design
Service Agreement) form from our Billing
department via email or alternatively by fax. Please complete the CCA
form, sign it, and fax the form back to 1-913-890-7705. A Billing
representative will apply the payment required for your web design
services. Note:
You will have to complete and fax a CCA form, only if you chose to pay
by Credit Card. This form is not required for Check Payments or Wire
Transfers. Please make sure to include your registration number on the
form to avoid any delay on your project. WEB
DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER: As
soon as the above mentioned forms are received and the plan is paid
for, you will be assigned a Web Design Project Manager. The Project
Manager will be in charge of your web design project from start to
finish. It is best to consult your Project Manager all your web design
related questions. You will receive an email with instructions and a
welcome call from your assigned Project Manager. You will also receive
his/her direct phone number and email address so you can receive
updates on the status of your project. CHOOSE
YOUR WEB DESIGN TEMPLATE: In
order to start your web design project you will need to choose:
- Logo
design (optional)
- Flash
Intro (optional)
- Design
Template (required)
Please
log into our web design gallery at: http://design.aplus.net/?o=g
using your Aplus.Net registration number and customer password. Choose
your Logo design, Flash Intro and Template from our gallery that
contains more than 4000 web design templates, 1000 logo design ideas,
150 Flash Intros. Save the respective IDs so you can send them to your
web design project manager. Note:
Some of the design templates provide Flash version at additional cost.
The Flash version details and additional cost are listed below the
template screenshot. Once
you choose a web design template that matches your needs and
requirements, you have to define the structure and the page titles (site
map) of your website. Please submit the chosen Logo
Design ID (optional), Flash Intro ID (optional),
Design Template ID, your site structure,
and page titles to your project manager by email.
Note:
If you chose a flash version of a given template instead of its static
version, please inform your project manager. Your
Project Manager will collect all the information mentioned above and
will prepare a confirmation form (named:
“Appendix A”) that contains all details of your web
design plan. Please sign the form and fax it back to 1-913-890-7786.
WEB
SITE CONTENTS AND DEMO URL: Once
your website template and structure is defined, you will need o provide
your project manager with the actual contents of
your web pages (text, pictures, video files, sound files, and
description of where you want to place them on your web pages)
The
number of days required to complete your project depends on the type of
plan ordered: - Palette
– 6 business days
- Sunshine
– 10 business days
- Rainbow
– 30 business days
- Reflections
– 45 business days
Important:
Without this vital information, our web design team cannot start
designing your web site. The turnaround time starts after all the
required materials (contents) are submitted. If you do not
send the contents on time, you risk having your own project delayed.
Once
received, our design team will start designing your web site. Your
Project Manager will provide you with a demo URL that
you can use in order to see the progress on your web site at any stage.
WEB
SITE APPROVAL: Once
your web site is designed, you will be contacted by your project
manager to test and approve it. We suggest that you go over your
designed web site one more time and report any last corrections that
needs to be applied to your site (text misspells, inconsistent
hyperlinks, .etc). You
will be then sent a release form by your Project
Manager in order to approve your designed website. Please sign the
form, and fax it back to 1-913-890-7786. Important:
Aplus.Net will publish your site only after the release form
has been received. WEB
SITE PUBLISHING: Once
Aplus.Net receives the release form, our design team will publish your
website to your hosting server. Important:
If your hosting service is not with Aplus.Net, please provide your FTP
login information so our team is able to publish your site.
