When
you design and publish your website using Trellix SiteBuilder, you will
see the following message:
Congratulations!
Your web site has been published.
Visitors
can find it at this location (URL): http://username.web.aplus.net
Trellix
SiteBuilder does not operate on your actual registered domain name, but
on your utility domain name (i.e.
username.web.aplus.net). The reason for that setting is that domains do
not always resolve, whereas the utility domain resolves from the moment
that your Aplus.Net account is created. The fact that Trellix
SiteBuilder operates on your utility domain allows you to begin
designing your website just moments after you purchased your account
with Aplus.Net.
However,
this does not mean that your site will only be accessible through a
browser at http://username.web.aplus.net. Indeed, both your utility
domain and the registered domain hosted on your Aplus.Net account point
to the same location on Aplus.Net’s servers, therefore
enabling access to your website through both your registered domain and
your utility domain.
For
more information on how to use Trellix, refer to the Trellix
Training Guide.
