You
can use your Aplus.Net Reseller Control Panel to provision new
shared hosting and domain registration plans.
Here
is how to use the Control Panel to provision new shared hosting plans:
- Start by logging into
your Web Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using
your Reseller Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Locate the Buy Services section
on the left-hand side.
- Select Hosting and
then click on Unix Hosting or Windows Hosting depending
on the type of hosting plan you want to provision.
- Unix Hosting – Personal Unix/RS,
Business Class Unix/RS, Pro/RS, eCommerce Unix/RS
- Windows Hosting – Personal Windows/RS,
Business Class Windows/RS, Pro Windows/RS, eCommerce Windows/RS
- Select the exact hosting
plan you’d like to provision and click the respective sign
up now button.
- Select the billing
period for your new hosting plan.
- Select the Main FTP
Username and FTP Password for the new shared hosting
plan.
- Select the domain name
that you’d like to associate with the new hosting plan. 3
options are available
- “I have a domain name but I do not want to transfer it” – Please
enter your existing domain name in the Existing Domain Name text
field. With this option you state that your domain name is already
registered but you’d like to keep the registration with
your current domain registrar. Please contact your domain registrar
and point this domain name to Aplus.Net’s nameservers: ns1.abac.com and ns2.abac.com.
- “I do not have a domain
name and I prefer to register it later” – Choose
this option if you’d like to provision a new hosting plan
without hosting any domain in it for now. You can always register
and host new domains in that plan using the same Control Panel.
- “I will register my new
domain name today” – Choose this option if you want
to provision new domain name registration along with the new
hosting plan. Use the Register New Domain section to enter
your registration plan details:
i. Exact name for your new domain.
ii. Domain Extension (.com, .net, etc). Default is set to .com
iii. Domain Password
iv. Registration
Period (1-10 years). Default is set to 2 years
v. Anonymous
Registration. Default is set to “No(free)”.
- Click the Proceed
to Finalize Order button.
- Review your order details
and click Finalize order to provision to new plan(s).
Important:
You can now disclose the Main FTP Username and Password associated
with the new hosting plan to your own customer. Your customer will
be able to manage his/her own hosting plan without having access
to any information pertaining to your Reseller Account.
