Coppermine
is a multi-purpose, fully-featured web picture gallery written in PHP
and using a MySQL database. It is available for installation through
the Aplus.Net Control Panel for the following Unix-based hosting plans:
- Business
Class Unix
- Pro Unix
- eCommerce Unix
Here
is how you can create albums in your Coppermine Photo Gallery:
- Start by
logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select Web
Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next, select Hosted
Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
- Now, select the
hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click the Design
tab.
- Click the Coppermine
Photo Gallery icon.
- Go to the Config
section.
- Click the Albums
button. You will be automatically logged into your Coppermine
Administrative Panel and redirected to the Albums Management section.
- You can
organize your Photo Albums in categories, however,
this is optional. Use the Select category dropdown
menu to choose the category you’d like to create the new
album in. You can select either an existing category or the "*No
category*" option. In any case, the names of all existing Albums in the
selected category will be loaded.
- Click New
and enter the name of your album on the place of the "New album"
default value.
- Finally,
click the Apply modifications button.
An
extensive documentation (in HTML format) for the Coppermine Photo
Gallery is uploaded to your FTP space as part of the installation
process. The documentation is located in a folder named docs which
is created inside your Coppermine
installation directory.
Examples:
- If you have
installed your Coppermine Photo Gallery in a sub directory of your /html,
the documentation will be located at:
- If you have
installed your Coppermine Photo Gallery in a subdomain named cpg,
the documentation will be located at:
