I am reaching or have reached the disk quota limit for my Aplus.Net shared hosting account. What can I do?

Answer by: Stuart Pierce, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support.

Please contact our friendly Sales Department to request an upgrade. Sales Representatives are available 24/7 toll free at (877) 275-8763 or (858) 410-6929 for International callers.

  5. Click the Add Web Space icon.
  6. Use the Additional FTP Space drop-down menu to select the amount of FTP space that you’d like to add to your hosting plan.
  7. Click Modify to continue.

III. You can remove unneeded e-mails from your account. Here is how (Important: the instructions below apply to Unix-based hosting plans only):

  1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
  2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.

  4. Now, select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
  5. Click the File Manager-new icon.
  6. Browse to the mail directory found at the root of your webspace.
Note: Here is how you can find out the email box which occupies most of your space:
  1. Click on the particular email box directory you wish to delete messages from.
  2. The most current e-mails are stored in the cur folder. Be sure to also check the Sent, Trash, Junk, and Drafts folders for unwanted e-mails.
  3. You can preview the files using the Edit as Text option available by a right-click.
  4. Remove unneeded messages with the Delete option.

NOTE: Be sure to make a copy/backup of any important files before removing them from your account. Once deleted, they will be irrecoverable.
