The
Customer Survey tool allows you to view and
analyze results of surveys on your website.
To
create a survey, follow these instructions:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click
on the Design tab.
- Select
the Customer Survey icon.
- Once
in the customer Surveys screen, click Create New Survey.
- Fill
out the forms with headings “Survey title,”
“Introduction text” and “Privacy
statement.” Explanations of what should go in each form are
located on the page. Once
you are finished, click Next.
- Select
your survey style/template, and choose between a vertical or horizontal
layout and click Next. Your
survey is now created!
Once
your survey is created, you must publish it from the main menu:
- Under
the main Customer Surveys screen, select any survey from the menu under
Manage Existing Surveys then click the Publish
button.
- Select
the directory where you would like to publish the survey to, (e.g. / or
/surveys) and assign a file name for the survey page.
- Click
Publish and you should see a confirmation
message stating “Your survey was successfully
published.”

As
soon as visitor votes, the survey will be opened and will be listed
with any other open surveys. The title that will be displayed will be
the same one as of the survey form. You can view results from ongoing
surveys, as well as from surveys which are finished already and you
have closed them. If you wish, you can delete the results of a survey.
If your survey is open, users can make their votes and the votes will
be saved. If you close a survey and if you do not remove the survey
form from your website, users can still vote but their votes will NOT
be saved. Later you will not be able to view any results after the
survey closure.
