Here’s how you can customize
the settings of the Web-a-Photo Client Software:
- Select Settings from
the top navigation bar and click Advanced Settings.
- A Settings dialog
box will appear where you can modify the settings of the application.
· Resize Settings - To resize the photos before uploading to the
server, check the Automatic resize on upload box and enter
the size of the photos in the field Maximum photo size in pixels.
The photos larger than the entered value will be resized proportionally.
For example, if you have a photo of size 200x400 pixels and there
is a value of 300 in the field Maximum picture size in pixels,
the photo will be resized to 150x300 and then uploaded to the server.
The photo on the hard disk will retain the original size (200x400).
· Upload photos automatically from digital camera or card reader
to Web-a-photo web site - If this option is checked and the application
is minimized, the photos from your digital camera or card reader
will be uploaded to the Web-a-Photo web site automatically. Only
photos that have not been previously uploaded will be uploaded
in this process.
· Check for new version of Web-a-photo on startup - the application
will check on startup for a new version of Web-a-Photo.
· Launch Web-a-photo on startup – Web-a-photo Client Software
will start when you launch your Operating System.
· Low priority of upload process – other uploads from your
computer will be favored, when executed at the same time.
