You
can remove a subdomain by manually deleting the
directory that contains the subdomain’s content. On
Aplus.Net’s Unix-based shared hosting plans, subdomains are
stored in a directory in the root of the web space (i.e. home/subdomain/).
You must delete this entire directory to remove it from your website.
Here’s
how to remove a subdomain using the File Manager tool
on the Aplus.Net Control Panel:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Web Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer
Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Next,
click the File Manager-New icon. You will see the
content of your / root folder.
- Right-click
the directory name (subdomain) that you want to delete in
order to use the management menu.
- Select Delete
and click OK
to confirm the removal.
Important:
Once removed, the files/folders cannot be restored
i.e. there is no "undelete" or "undo" commands.
