How to upload my site using Netscape Composer?

Answer by: Frederique Taillefer, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support.

Here’s how:

  1. Start by opening the file that you are uploading to Aplus.Net’s servers.
  2. Select Publish in the File menu.
  3. You will need to fill out some information in the Publish window:
    1. Page Title: this is what you will see at the top of your browser window,
    2. HTML Filename: this will be the name of your file on Aplus.Net’s servers. NOTE: if you are uploading your home or main page, make sure that you name it index.html.
    3. HTTP or FTP Location to publish to: http://yourdomain.com. Please replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual hosted domain name.
    4. User name: your main FTP username.
    5. Password: your FTP password. You might want to select the Save Password option, so that you do not have to enter is every time you publish.
    6. Other files to include: select all the files that you want to publish. Make sure you include all images that are included in your pages.
  4. Hit OK to publish your files to the web.
  5. NOTE: Make sure that you upload all of your files in the HTML folder, which is the only way that they can be accessible from a browser.
