Question categories:  Froogle Connector

how do I update my froogle listing using the froogle connector™ Module?

Answer by:  George Kaloyanov, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support.

If you update any of your Miva products that are already listed on Froogle, you will have to upload your list using the Froogle Connector™ module in order to have the information listed on Froogle up-to-date. Update all your Miva products and then follow the instructions below to update your Froogle listing.

Important: Froogle allows one upload request per hour. If you have made such a request within the last hour, you will have to follow the instructions later as the Upload All Saved Products button mentioned below will not appear.

Important: If you do not have an Aplus.Net’s hosting plan and bought the Aplus.Net’s Froogle Connector™ module from MivaCentral.Com, please login to your Miva administration pages with your current hosting provider and skip to Step 7.

Here’s how to update your Froogle listing:

  1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
  2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
  3. Next, select Hosted Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
  4. Now, select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
  5. Click on the Marketing tab.
  6. Finally, select the Froogle Connector™ from the body of the following page. You will be redirected to the Miva Administration pages.

Note: Make sure your Miva Administration is set to Advanced Administration Mode.

  1. Now, click on the arrow next to Stores located in the left panel of the Miva Administration screen.
  2. Next, click on the arrow next to the name of your Miva Merchant store to view the available options.
  3. Next, click on the Products option of your store to open your Miva Products List.
  4. Now, click the edit button, located at the row of one of the products that is already listed on Froogle.
  5. Next, click on the Froogle link located in the Edit Product navigation bar. You should be redirected to the product information screen.
  6. Next, click the Upload All Saved Products button.
  7. You should receive a confirmation screen upon successful update submission.

Note: It takes up to 24 hours for the new information to be updated and listed on Froogle.

Note: These instructions assume you already have your Miva Store created, your Froogle merchant account registered, and your Froogle Connector™ module installed and configured.

  • If your Froogle Connector™ module is not installed, here you can find instructions on how to install it.
  • If your Froogle Connector™ module is not yet configured, here you can find instructions on how to configure it.
  • If you do not own a Froogle merchant account yet, here you can find instructions on how to register one.
