Here’s how to upload a photo to your Web-a-Photo Albums
using the Web-a-Photo website:
- Start by logging into
your account at http://www.web-a-photo.com using
your contact email and password.
- Click on Go to your
albums button or My Albums link. Both will open a
screen that contains all your Web-a-Photo albums.
- Open the album you want
to upload photos to by clicking on the album thumbnail.
- Click the Upload Photos link
in the menu on the left.
- You will be offered 2
options for uploading:
Option 1: Drag & Drop Tool.
This tool is very
convenient but you need to install ActiveX Control on your computer
in order to use it.
You can use the Drag & Drop
Tool with your Internet Explorer or your Windows Explorer.
UPLOAD WITH WINDOWS EXPLORER
You can drag and drop from your Windows
Explorer. Open it, select a file or a whole directory and drop it over
the folder icon. As soon as your mouse cursor is over the icon, it
will turn green and display the text "drop here". Drop the
image over it and a dialog window "Upload Files to Web-a-Photo" will
open. Click Upload button and upload process will start. When you drag
and drop a directory, only files with the above listed extensions will
be uploaded.
UPLOAD WITH INTERNET
EXPLORER
If you see a photo
that you like on the Internet, you can easily upload it to Web-a-Photo.
Drag the picture you want to upload to the folder icon. As soon as
your mouse cursor is over the icon it will turn green and display the
text "Drop Here". Drop the image over it and a dialog window "Upload
Files to Web-a-Photo" will open. Click the Upload button and the
upload process will start.
You can upload only
.jpg files.
Bear in mind that
you can upload only if the picture is not a link, i.e. it’s not “clickable”.
Option II: Conventional Upload Tool
Use the Conventional Upload Tool to
upload up to five files at a time. Click on the Browse button,
select the file you wish to upload and click Open. Repeat this for
each file you want to upload. Then click the Upload button.
You can use this functionality without
ActiveX Control installed.
