How do i manage the welcome message of my miva merchant store?

The Welcome Message is displayed on the very first screen a shopper will see when visiting your Miva Store. It is displayed under the top navigation bar and next to the category tree. There is no limit on the length of the message and you can use both plain text and HTML code.

Important: The following screenshots and instructions apply to Unix-based, eCommerce Unix plans using Miva 5.

How to manage the Welcome Message of your storefront:

1. Login into your Miva Admin Panel at http://yourdomain.com/mm5/admin.mvc using the Main FTP Username and FTP Password of your eCommerce Unix shared hosting plan.

Note: If you are in the Simple Administration mode, switch to Advanced Administration mode.

2. Expand the Stores menu.

3. Then, click on the name of your Miva Store.

4. Open the Messages tab.

5. Enter your Miva Store welcome message in the Storefront Welcome: text area. HTML format is supported.

6. Click Update to save the changes.
