You
can set up mail rules in your web mail settings to always place emails
from specified contacts into a specified location.
Note:
Please have in mind that these instructions apply to the webmail spam
filters only. The spam filters which you can set in the Control Panel
have higher priority and will override the message filtering of the
webmail.
Here
is how:
- Visit
http://mail.yourdomain.com (replacing
yourdomain.com with your domain name).
- Log
in with your email address and password.
- Click
on the link labeled Options in the right-side
reading panel.
- Select
Message Filters from the list of option.
- Click
on the link labeled New below the drop-down menu to
create a new filter setting.
- In
the Match section, select what you would like to
filter to monitor for this contact from the drop-down menu. For
example, if you want the filter to look at the
“From” portion of the email, select From.
- In
the Contains section, specify what the filter is
checking for in the option chosen in the last step for the Match
section. For example, if you are setting up a filter to watch for
emails from ‘johndoe@emailaddress.com’, enter the
email address into the Contains field.
- In
the Move To section, select the location you would
like to move the message to when the message fits the parameters set in
the Match and Contains sections.
- Click
Submit to save this filter.
Note: You can create additional subfolders of INBOX by
clicking the
"Folders" link from the top navigation bar.
