The
Advanced Counter tool
is available on our Unix-based hosting servers. Here’s how to
use the Advanced Counter tool to generate
the required web counter HTML code:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click
on the Design
tab.
- Next,
click the Web Counter icon. You can assign now the
Counter attributes and preview in real time all changes in the Counter
Preview.
- In
Start Counter At: enter
a random number you wish the count to start with.
- In
Text Color: select a color for the count
number.
- In
Text Offset: this is the distance in
pixels from the right end of the counter field.
- In
Background: select a background picture
for the web counter.
- In
Size: select from the two available
formats for the web counter.
- In
Count Only Unique Visitors: if checked,
only visitors originating from different IP addresses and for a 24 hour
period will be added up.
- In
Use Smaller Text: if checked, the count
number will use smaller font size.
- (Optional):
You can use the Reset
Counter to 0 button if you want to restart the counting
of your website visitors.
Now,
you have to copy and paste the HTML code into your web page file. If
you click on Grab Code, the HTML code will be
copied to Clipboard.
