Adding the Web-a-File toolbar to Windows Explorer on your computer
enables you to take advantage of your Web-a-File account at anytime
from your computer. Directly from Windows Explorer, you can select a file/files to backup
immediately, run an existing scheduled task or create a new scheduled
task, restore items from your Web-a-File space, backup or restore
your mail, and/or check your Web-a-File settings.
Here’s how to enable the Web-a-File toolbar on your computer:
- Go
to http://www.web-a-file.com and
download the Web-a-File client software. The link to download the
software can be found in the yellow area to the right of the Login button.
- Once
you have completed the download, simply open Windows Explorer.
Now, when you right-click on any file or folder on your computer,
you will find the Web-a-File option in the shortcut menu.
You can there select from the following Web-a-File toolbar options:
Backup, Schedule Backup,
and Restore Scheduled Item(s), Restore from Server, Mail Backup, Mail Restore,
Settings.
