The
Aplus.Net HTML Editor tool will enable you to
easily and efficiently create new and/or edit existing HTML documents.
Here’s
how to get started using the HTML Editor tool:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer
Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click
on the Design tab.
- Next,
click the HTML Editor icon.
- Click
Enter HTML Editor to start
creating/editing HTML documents.
Note:
If you have already used the old HTML editor before May 15, 2006, you
will notice that there is new version available. It is supported with
most of the popular browsers, while the old version of the HTML Editor
can be used with Internet Explorer only. We recommend that you
uninstall the old version by clicking on the respective button. This
will not affect files you have previously edited
with the old version of the HTML Editor.
If
you want to update/edit an already existing HTML page:
- Select
Open from the menu at the top.
- Locate
and click on the file you wish edit using the
directory list.
- Make
any necessary changes to your page.
- When
you are done, select Save to make your changes
permanent. You do not need to upload any files, since all your changes
will be automatically saved on your hosting server.
If
you want to create a new HTML page:
- Select
New from the menu at the top.
- Create
your page by adding text, tables, images, etc.
- When
you are done, select Save As.
- Type
the name that you want for your file (Keep in mind that you need to use
the .htm or .html extension for all files that you want to allow users
to view).
- Click
Save to make the changes permanent. You do
not need to upload any files, since all your changes will be
automatically saved on your hosting server.
