The
Archive Manager creates .zip, .tar or .tar.gz files from directories in
your webspace.
Note:
.tar and .tar.gz archives are supported with the Unix-based hosting
plans only.
Here’s
how to use the Archive Manager tool:
- Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
- Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
- Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
- Click
the Archive Manager icon.
- Select
the directory that you’d like to archive from the drop-down
menu.
Note:
Please have in mind that you will see in the drop-down list only
directories which do not have more than five subdirectories. This
limitation is set for performance reasons.
- Select
the archive file format and compression using the respective radio
buttons.
- Click
the Create Archive button.
- You
will receive a confirmation message containing the exact filename of
the new archive.
- Select
your already created archive using the Select an archive
drop-down menu.
- Click
the Download button to save the archive on your
local computer.
