How do I access the SQL Server that comes with my Windows hosting plan?

The MSSQL database is included with the following Windows-based shared hosting plans:

• Business Class Windows (50 MB)
• Pro Windows (150 MB)
• eCommerce Windows (350 MB)

You will have to enable your MSSQL database. Once you've assigned a username and password for your MS SQL account, an e-mail will be sent to you with access instructions. The e-mail will contain the following:

• The following is the connection string (when not using a DSN) for your SQL database:
  DRIVER={SQL Server}; SERVER=WINSQL1.ABAC.COM;APP=yourapp;LANGUAGE=us_english;DATABASE=ftpUser_SQLUser;UID=SQLUser;PWD=password;

Important: You may have to change winsql1.abac.com with winsql2.abac.com or winsql3.abac.com. Here’s how to enable MS SQL using the Aplus.Net Control Panel:

1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
3. Next, select Hosted Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
4. Now, select the domain name of the website that you’d like to edit.
5. Click the Manage MS SQL Database icon.
