How do I access Aplus.Net's dial-up service under Windows NT?

Answer by:  Andrew Hickl, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support

Here’s how:

1.      Double-click on My Computer located on your desktop.

2.      Now double-click the Dial-up Networking icon.

3.      In the Dial-up Networking dialogue, click the New… button found under the Phonebook entry to dial... drop-down menu. If the phone book wizard appears, check the “I already know about phone books” checkbox and press next.

4.      In the New Phonebook Entry dialogue box, select the Basic tab.

5.      For Entry name, enter Aplus.Net. Leave the Comment field blank.

6.      Enter the Area Code and Phone Number for your access number into the appropriate fields.

7.      Click OK to continue. You will be returned to the Dial-up Networking dialogue.

8.      Click Dial to connect to the Internet. You will be prompted for your Username (i.e. ) and Password as soon as you have established a connection to the dial-up server.
