The
WebCalendar is
a PHP-based calendar application that can be configured as a
single-user calendar, a multi-user calendar, or as an event calendar
viewable by your website visitors.
In
WebCalendar, you may create as many users as you want. Furthermore,
each user will have its own online calendar. Depending on the rights
given by the administrator, you may view another user's calendar, or
even create and modify calendar events.
Here
is how you can create different users who will then administer their
own online calendars. Please have in mind that only Administrators are
able to create new users.
- Start by logging
into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
- Select Web Hosting from the top
navigation bar.
- Next, select Hosted
Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
- Select the
hosted domain name that you’d like to manage.
- Click on the Design
tab.
- Click on the Online
Calendar icon.
- Now, click on
the Settings tab.
- Click the User
Management button. You will be redirected to the WebCalendar
User Administration page.
- Click on the Add
New User link. It is located just above your administrative
username.
- Type in the
new user details in the respective text fields and click the Save
button to create the new user.
New
users can login to manage their calendars using the assigned username
and password at: http://yourdomain.com/webcal/login.php.
Please replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.
If
you have administrative rights, you will be able to view calendars by
clicking on the Another User's Calendar link found
at the bottom of each page.
You
can also use the User Manual and the WebCalendar
Tutorial online help resources:
Also,
at each administrative page in the WebCalendar there is a Help
or "?" link
available which describes the particular task you are managing.
