You
can set up FrontPage Forms to send data entered by
users by e-mail. You can specify the recipient e-mail address, and also
configure the Form to capture the users’ e-mail address and
enter it in the “From” field of the e-mail message.
For this reason you will need your Form to include a text field which
requires users to enter their email address.
Here
is how to do that in the FrontPage interface:
- Right-click
the e-mail form field and select Form Field Properties.
- Copy
(or make a note of) the contents of the Name text
field.
- Next,
right-click your FrontPage Form, and select Form Properties.
- Click
Options and select the E-mail
Results tab.
- Enter
the recipient e-mail address where you want the results of the Form to
be sent to.
- In
the Reply-to line field, enter the name of the
field that you copied earlier in Step 2 (NOTE: field names are case
sensitive).
- Make
sure that the Form field name box is checked.
- Click
OK twice.
