How can I set up MIVA so that I am notified when orders are made on my site?

With the Order Fulfillment module, you can set up MIVA to send you and your customers a notification when an order is placed from your online store. Here’s how:

1. Start by logging into your MIVA administration interface at using your Main FTP username and password:
1. eCommerce Unix plans opened before December 7^th, 2005 using MIVA 4: http://yourdomain.com/Merchant2/admin.mvc
2. eCommerce Unix plans opened after December 7^th, 2005 using MIVA 5:  http://yourdomain.com/mm5/admin.mvc
3. eCommerce Windows plans: http://mivasecure.abac.com/ftpusername/admin.mvc

Note: Please replace yourdomain.com with your actual registered and hosted domain name. Replace ftpusername with your Main FTP Username associated with your hosting plan

2. Make sure that you are in Advanced Administration mode.
3. Click on the arrow next to “Stores”.
4. Click on the arrow next to your store name.
5. Click on the Order Fulfillment Configuration link.
6. You can choose one or both of the Assigned Modules:
1. Email Merchant Notification: sends the store owner a customized notification that an order has been placed.
2. Customer Order Confirmation Email: sends your customers a customized notification that their order has been received by the store owner.
7. Check the box next to the module(s) that you wish to install, and then click Update. This will add a link in the order fulfillment configuration page for each module that you choose.
8. Next, click on each link to set up each module, and edit the module to fit your needs:
1. Email Merchant Notification:

                                                              i.      If you want to use a list of addresses (both in the From field and in the To or CC fields), make sure you type the e-mail addresses separated by a comma.

                                                             ii.      The Subject and the Header fields can only contain text (no HTML code).

2. Customer Order Notification:

                                                              i.      If you want to use a list of addresses in the CC field, make sure you type the e-mail addresses separated by a comma.

                                                             ii.      The Subject and the Header fields can only contain text (no HTML code).

9. To complete the Order Fulfillment configuration, click Update.
