How can I cut, copy and paste files using the Aplus.Net Control Panel?

Answer by: Stuart Pierce, Aplus.Net Knowledge Base Support

You can use the File Manager to cut, copy and paste files/directories in your web space.

Note: Moving certain files or directories in your web space may cause your site to function improperly or not be available via the Internet.

Here’s how:

  1. Start by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
  2. Select Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
  3. Next, select Hosted Domains and click on Manage Hosted Domains.
  4. Now, select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
  5. Next, click the File Manager-New icon.
  6. Use the Directory Structure panel to browse to the directory that contains the file or directory that you’d like to cut/copy and paste.
  7. In order to select consecutive files or folders, click the first item, press and hold down SHIFT, and then click the last item you wish to select. To select non-consecutive files or folders, press and hold down CTRL, and then click each item you wish to select. Use the respective Cut, Copy and Paste buttons to manipulate the selected files.
