Once
your site has been submitted to search engines, you can use the Quick
Ranking Tool to check how relevant your site is for different
searches.
1.
Start
by logging into the Aplus.Net Control Panel at http://cp.aplus.net
using your Registration Number and Customer Password.
2.
Select
Web Hosting from the top navigation bar.
3.
Next,
select Hosted Domains and click on Manage
Hosted Domains.
4.
Now,
select the hosted domain that you’d like to manage.
5.
Click
on the Marketing tab.
6.
Click
the Quick Ranking icon.
If
your submissions to the search engines have been processed, you will be
able to proceed on to Step 7.
If
not, proceed to step 10.
7.
From
the Previous Records: menu,
select a submitted page (or site).
8.
Next,
enter the Keywords that you expect users to enter into a search engine
in order to find your site.
9.
Finally,
click the Check Ranking button.
On
the following page, you will be able to see your site’s
position in the following search engines: All The Web, Alta Vista,
Google, and HotBot.
If
you’d like to see how an unsubmitted site fares on a search
engine, you can do the following:

Under
My URL, put the address of the site that
you’d like to check.
11.
Under
Keywords, put a selection of keywords that you
expect users to enter into a search engine in order to find your site.
12.
Finally,
click the Check Ranking button.
On
the following page, you will be able to see your site’s
position in the following search engines: All The Web, Alta Vista,
Google, and HotBot.
