Yes, each
dedicated server owner receives root/administrator access to his
server. With such access you can fully administer your own dedicated
server. Furthermore, dedicated server owners will receive access to the
Aplus.Net Award Winning Web Control Panel and Administrative access to
their server’s control panel: Plesk or Webmin.
Please
review all current Dedicated Server plans offered by Aplus.Net at: http://servers.aplus.net
Root Access:
- Unix-based Dedicated Servers: You
have to establish an SSH connection to your server using
“root” as a username, the root password, and the IP
address assigned to your dedicated server. These login details will be
disclosed to you by our Dedicated Servers Support Team. You can use any
SSH Client Software (Putty, Secure CRT, etc.) to establish the
connection.
- Windows-based Dedicated Servers:
You have to establish a remote desktop connection using
“Administrator” as a username, the administrative
password, and the IP address assigned to your dedicated server. These
login details will be disclosed to you by our Dedicated Servers Support
Team. You can use the Remote Desktop Connection manager provided by
Microsoft. It is integrated with Windows XP.
Aplus.Net
Control Panel Access:
You can
manage your Aplus.Net Account (Contact Information, Billing
Information, Current Service Plans, Open New Service Plans, etc.) by
logging into your Aplus.Net Web Control Panel at https://cp.aplus.net.
You have to use your Account Registration Number and Password in order
to login into that Control Panel.

dedicated server, which you can use to administer your server through a
user friendly web interface. Aplus.Net currently offers two different
control panels for dedicated servers: Plesk and Webmin. The login
details will be disclosed to you by our Dedicated Servers Support Team.
- Plesk: You can login into your
Plesk control panel at https://your-server-ip-address:8443. You have to
use your Plesk administrative username and password.
