Do i need to re-upload my files after they were optimized with the load time optimization tool?

With the Load Time Optimization tool you can review and optimize the load time of your web pages. The tool will help you with the optimization of your html and image files by decreasing their actual size. Thus, your web pages will load faster.

Once you are satisfied with the optimization level of a particular HTML or image file, click Save to record your changes and to overwrite your original file. There is NO need to re-upload files to your FTP space.

Be careful: There is no way to “undo” this process once you have clicked the Save button. Optimized files are saved in the same file location as the original image files.

Alternatively, you can click Discard to cancel and to keep the original non-optimized file on your web site.
