Creating a web page from scratch.

You can create a web site using a blank template in SiteBuilder. Here’s how:

  1. In All My Sites next to Create a new site, Select “Blank (Start From Scratch) from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click the GO button when the menu item has been selected.
  3. You'll then go through the steps of adding a title, footer, selecting pages for your site, and selecting a website design.

When you begin to edit the site, the pages display placeholders, showing where you can add content. You replace these placeholders with your own text, links, pictures, Web Gems, and callouts or simply delete the placeholders as you build your site.

Since the pages do not contain sample content, fewer Edit buttons appear. As you add content to the different page areas, more Edit buttons will appear. This is because for each content block that you add, you can add, copy, or move another content block before or after it.

For more information on how to use Trellix, refer to the Trellix Training Guide.
